HIGH SCHOOL BULLYING ASSEMBLY and INTERVIEW
This Windows Media Video from last spring includes a news interview with Cary Trivanovich about his special Anti-Bullying assembly program for high schools.
Running time 7:34

CARY TRIVANOVICH

Earning the Right to be Heard With An Extremely Funny, World-Class Performance.  Then Changing Lives.

Cary's performance is akin to a comedian performing pantomime.  Not just "pantomime" however—Cary is nationally renowned in educational theatre for his pantomime, and the response he receives in school assemblies must be seen to be believed.  His performance earns so much respect with his audiences that he is able to follow with his straightforward message with pin-drop attention.

Cary's message is given in the second half of the assembly.  It will be tailored to the age level and the specific climate and degree of bullying at your school.  Whether about students who are mistreating others in ignorance of how they are acting, or about serious staunch bullies, Cary's message speaks to the heart of every student.

* Cary relates the painful consequences of both physical and online bullying.
* Cary effectively exposes the mindset of bullies, revealing their desire to be somebody, and how bullying ultimately accomplishes the opposite.
* He encourages the bullied, giving them helpful and practical advice.
* He explains that the notion of not tattling or "snitching" when students witness bullying is adolescent and dangerous, and that they should help victims of bullying by reporting and protecting.
* Cary culminates his message with the challenge to be the kind of peer who is a magnet for friends - unselfish and giving.
** The above aspects are tailored and discussed with varying depth from school to school, depending on the climate and degree of bullying at each.

Anti-Bullying Forum for Families and Teachers

Cary Trivanovich will be happy to include an additional forum for your community after the assemblies.  The forum will involve immediate and long term remedies to stop bullying, open discussion and, of course, a short performance which parents will appreciate after hearing about it from their kids!
